The Madres Collective Handmade Coffee Bean Earrings

We all want to look good and wear beautiful things.  What if we could do that and at the same time empower mothers, girls and families to rise above rural poverty along the Dominican/Haitian border?  Well, now you can, and not only are these artisans receiving training and fair wages, the project is fostering relations between women from these two cultures that have traditionally been segregated.  I will certainly be wearing mine with pride and buying more as gifts for friends and family.
